<p>1. Use the Ads Diagnostic Tool: This tool can help explain why your ads may not be<br />
appearing. You can find detailed explanations of these reasons and<br />
solutions at <a href="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bc2xbM2AFq8">Ads Diagnostic Tool Information</a>. Access this tool by via the &#8216;Tools&#8217; tab or view the results directly in the &#8216;Keywords tab&#8217; under the main &#8216;Campaigns&#8217; tab.<br />
2. Use the Disapproved Ads Tool: You may still not be able to view your ad if it has been disapproved. This tool can help you find out why your ads were<br />
disapproved. Click the &#8216;Tools&#8217; tab in your account.<br />
3. Double check your daily budget for your campaign.  It could be possible that you reached your daily budget for the day.   Also understand that a small percentage of advertisers in the market show up all the time for a particular keyword.  Those are the advertisers who get the most clicks and have the best quality score.<br />
4. Check to see if are using ad scheduling.  You can find out whether you using ad scheduling by going to campaign settings advanced settings ad scheduling.<br />
5. Use the Ad Preview Tool <a href="https://adwords.google.com/select/AdTargetingPreviewTool">adwords.google.com/select/AdTargetingPreviewTool</a>. If you search for your ad multiple times on Google, it can impact your ad position by showing many ad impressions and lowers your clickthrough rate. The Ad Preview tool is recommended to view for your ads to preview because impressions are not counted and it does not lower your clickthrough rate.  Simply enter a keyword and search the state or country.</p>

People tell me that when they do it by themselves, the content network produces poor results.  So most likely, you will get lower click rates and less traffic using the content network than the search network. This makes sense because people coming through the content network were not searching for your product. So some people think the content network is useless because they have lost money using it in the past. My answer is it depends on who is doing it (ie: Adwords Professional) and whether they are accounting for your market, what you are selling and the site your ads are being displayed.  </p>
<p>The content network should be treated totally different from the search network.  If you do decide to use the content network, we recommend using a separate campaign.  Start off with a small dollar amount and measure your performance.  Use reporting tools to test sites, budgets and refine your campaign. Google&#8217;s placement report measures your performance on the content network.  Google&#8217;s placement report can be located in the reports section of your Adwords program.  This report helps you filter out sites that bring you poor traffic.  If you find a site that wastes your money, remove it.  Therefore, if you find that a site that performs well, or the conversion is inexpensive, continue to invest more in it. </p>

<p>In considering your return on investment (ROI) for pay per click keyword campaigns, competing for the top spot could be a big mistake. Why?  The higher you are on the page, the more clicks that you receive.  Unfortunaltely, you will receive clicks from someone who is indecisive about purchasing your product or service.  This will exhaust your budget faster thus lowering your return on investment. </p>
<p>For most advertisers, shooting low is smart. Position 6-8 is the sweet spot that we recommend for Adwords. Not only does it lower the cost of a bid and bring in traffic, it stretches your budget.</p>

The answer depends on your business model and cash flow. A successful local business model may fail when applied nationally. With AdWords, advertisers are willing to break even or lose money on the initial investment because the Internet users are looking for their products.</p>
<p>If your company is conservative with your cash flow, you maybe losing money with Adwords. Advertisers must have the cash to go negative on their ad spending while customer life time value catches up. It could take over a period of 6-12 months to recoup the initial investment. Bidding wars for the number one position can drive prices to unreasonable levels. Pay what you can afford based on your cash flow and margins.</p>
<p>If your company has a successful business model, strong cash flow and have success in advertising, use Adwords. As your campaigns improve, the prices will go down. Adwords rewards you with lower clicks if your ads are relevant. The objective of Adwords is to give the user a good positive experience by showing relevant ads. Furthermore, you know what you can afford in your decision whether to use Adwords or not.</p>

According to Deloitte LLC, nearly one in five consumers are expected to use their mobile phones to assist with holiday spending.  55% of consumers planned to find store locations, 45% research prices, 40% find product information, 32% get discounts and coupons while 31% read reviews. <p>Whenever you search Google for some type of business near a certain area, not only does it query its usual web results and AdWords database, it also queries its Google Local database.</p>
<p>Google&#8217;s Local Business Center Listings are the information that appears when someone search Google, Google Maps, Mobile, or Google 411. And that information, which can fill the same purpose of an ad, is absolutely free.</p>
<p>You may be wondering why Google gives this away for free? When asked this question, John Hanke, president of Google Earth, responded &#8220;It makes our search results more accurate.&#8221; Google&#8217;s goal, Hanke explained, is to be the source of people&#8217;s information. To do that, Google needs reliable data.</p>
<p>If you are like many businesses, you may be paying a hefty price for an ad in yellow pages. But if someone uses Google/Google Maps, or calls 800-GOOG411 for information instead of the Yellow pages (and ask anyone under 35 when the last time they used Yellow Pages was), they may find the name of your company, a little bit of info, and next to it, the words &#8220;More Info.&#8221; Google gathers as much as they can about business from many sources, but that information may be inaccurate or out of date.</p>
<p>If your information is displayed in Google Local already, why not take control of it? And if not, why not get your information up there?</p>
<p>To start, go to <a href="http://www.google.com/localbusinesscenter">www.google.com/localbusinesscenter</a>. &#8220;Claim your listing if your business is listed or add it if not. To confirm that you are actually the business owner, Google with either call you or send you a postcard (you get to choose which). You&#8217;ll be given a PIN number (write it down) and then can edit your company information.</p>
<p>You can choose a number of categories to describe your listing and make it more likely for searchers to find you. If your a graphic designer, you might choose categories such as &#8220;graphic designer,&#8221; &#8220;web designer,&#8221; &#8220;marketing collateral.&#8221;</p>
<p>We would recommend at least every business owner add at least this basic amount of information. You can also add photos (of logos, products, services, your datacenter, etc), coupons, products, services, etc.</p>
<p>Google&#8217;s Business Center provides you with a dashboard to see how people are finding your listing. It shows where people are coming from &#8211; figuratively, and literally. You can see which keywords people use to locate you, and where they are searching from geographically.</p>
<p>This services is almost getting a free AdWords ad, so take advantage of it ASAP.</p>

If you hire a search engine marketing company, find out their experience level in the program.Find out what the search engine marketing company offers and their plans with your account.</p>
<p>How do you generate immediate traffic to your website, and increase marketing ROI? The answer is pay per click advertising. Pay Per Click Marketing is Recession Proof. Pay per click advertising such as Google Adwords is the most efficient return on investment. According to Google Adwords, each month approximately 80% of Internet users in the United States and hundreds of millions more worldwide view Adwords ads.
